Removal

  1. Open vehicle tailgate.
  2. Release tailgate seal from body and carefully remove.

    Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Ensure that the front road wheels are in a straight ahead position. Remove the driver's side lower dash trim (refer to procedure). Remove the steering controller module (refer to procedure). Disconnect the steering column motor harness connectors (x2).

     Adjusting the Front Seats

    Move seat forward/backward and adjust the seat's height and tilt angle up/down. Adjust backrest. Adjust lumbar support. WARNING: Before adjusting a front seat, check that the area around the seat is free of obstacles (people and objects). WARNING: Do not adjust seats while driving.
