Tesla Model S: Seal - Belt - Door Inner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model S (2012-2026) Service Manual / Closures / Seal - Belt - Door Inner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Lower door glass.
  2. Remove door trim panel (refer to procedure)
  3. Release trim studs (x2) securing flap seal to door.
  4. Carefully ease flap seals clear of inner belt seal for access. Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
  5. Carefully lift and remove inner belt glass seal.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove center console rear closing panel (refer to procedure) Move front center arm rests forward. Using a suitable tool depress clips (x4) securing rear vent to center console. Remove rear vent.

     Wiper Blades - Pair (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Use the touchscreen to set the wipers to Service Mode. Press one wiper arm clip and release the blade. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm. Place a cloth under the end of the wiper arm.
