Tesla Model S: Seal - Belt - Door Inner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Lower door glass.
  2. Remove door trim panel (refer to procedure)
  3. Release trim studs (x2) securing flap seal to door.
  4. Carefully ease flap seals clear of inner belt seal for access. Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
  5. Carefully lift and remove inner belt glass seal.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal If the vehicle is equipped with premium audio, remove the premium boost amplifier module (refer to procedure). Disconnect the sunroof motor harness connector. Remove the screws (x3) that secure sunroof motor to the dash frame (torque 5 Nm).

     Location of Airbags

    Airbags are located in the approximate areas shown below. Airbag warning information is printed on the sun visors. Model S is equipped with an airbag and lap/shoulder belt at both front seating positions. The airbag is a supplemental restraint at those seating positions. All occupants, including
