Tesla Model S: Air Line - Air Suspension - Valve Block Exhaust (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit (refer to procedure).
  3. Release the fitting from the valve block (torque 3.5 Nm).

    Caution: Plug the line connection to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.

  4. Release the air line clip.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  • Install a new fitting into the valve block before installing the air line.

    Note: Ensure that the collet is 4.3 mm from the end of the air line to prevent air pressure restriction.

     Camera Location

    Model S is equipped with a rear view camera located above the rear license plate. Whenever you shift into Reverse, the touchscreen displays the view from the camera. Lines show your driving path based on the position of the steering yoke. These lines adjust as you move the steering yoke. Model
