Tesla Model S: Antenna - GSM - LH (Remove and Replace)

Note: The GSM antenna is a component within the door mirror assembly. If the GSM antenna develops a fault, the whole mirror assembly must be replaced.

Removal

  1. Remove the door mirror assembly (refer to procedure).

  2. Remove the door mirror assembly (refer to procedure).

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Leave Model S plugged in when not in use. This uses the charging system, rather than the Battery itself, to keep the Battery warm (see High Voltage Battery Information).
