Tesla Model S: Calibration - Panoramic Roof Assembly

Tesla Model S (2012-2023) Service Manual / Roof / Calibration - Panoramic Roof Assembly


  1. Close panoramic roof glass using touch screen.
  2. Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle.
  3. In Toolbox, select Views > Body/Security > Panoramic Sunroof, then select "Calibrate". The sunroof opens and closes.
  4. When calibration is complete, disconnect the laptop with Toolbox from the vehicle.

If the entire roof frame has been changed: Ensure the sliding panel does not foul or lift the rubber seal on the fixed glass panel as it opens. This must be conducted before the urethane sealant cures. Adjust frame locally to achieve desired operation.

     Press Sensor - Door - Exterior Handle - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove door handle for access (refer to procedure) Position handle assembly on a soft working surface. Remove door handle rear seal. Remove cable ties securing door pressure sensor and motor wiring. Remove press sensor screw.

     Cannot charge - Charge handle temperature high

    Check charge handle or charge port for debris Charging has been interrupted because the Mobile Connector has detected a high temperature in the charge handle that connects to your vehicle's charge port. Make sure the Mobile Connector is fully inserted into your vehicle's charge port inlet. You
