Tesla Model S: Calibration - Panoramic Roof Assembly

Tesla Model S (2012-2026) Service Manual / Roof / Calibration - Panoramic Roof Assembly

Check

  1. Close panoramic roof glass using touch screen.
  2. Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle.
  3. In Toolbox, select Views > Body/Security > Panoramic Sunroof, then select "Calibrate". The sunroof opens and closes.
  4. When calibration is complete, disconnect the laptop with Toolbox from the vehicle.
Adjust

If the entire roof frame has been changed: Ensure the sliding panel does not foul or lift the rubber seal on the fixed glass panel as it opens. This must be conducted before the urethane sealant cures. Adjust frame locally to achieve desired operation.

    Removal Lower window glass. Using a suitable tool release outer belt seal, starting at the mirror and working backwards. Caution: Protect paintwork from possible damage during this procedure. Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

     Window Motor/Regulator Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove window glass (refer to procedure) Remove bolts (x3) securing door control unit to door and tie aside (torque 1 Nm). Remove screws (x6) securing regulator closing panel to door inner (torque 4 Nm). Release regulator access panel and tie aside.
