Opening the Charge Port
The charge port is located on the left side of Model S,
behind a door that is part of the rear tail light assembly.
Park Model S to ensure that the charge cable easily
reaches the charge port.

Charging status displays on the instrument panel when the charge port door is

Over temperature protection (latch off).
What to do:
Make sure the connector is fully inserted into the charge inlet in the
vehicle's charging port, is not covered by
anything, and there is no heat source nearby. If the issue per
