Removal
Prepare a padded work area
Remove the driver's seat assembly (refer to procedure). With an
assistant, place the seat onto a padded work area so that the
plastic seat back
Installation
Install new fir tree clips (x4) into the new seat back:
Position the fir tree clip into the bracket.

Removal
Note: This component cannot be serviced individually. To
service this component, perform the following:

When you finish driving, simply exit the vehicle. When
you leave Model S with your phone key and key fob, it
powers off automatically, turning off the instrument
panel and touchscreen.
Model S also powers off automatically after being in
Park for 30 minutes, even if you are sitting in the drive

Open the liftgate.
Support the liftgate in the open position.
Remove the RH C-post upper trim (refer to procedure).
Release the RH rear corner of the headlining from the body.
Note: Do not remove the headlining.
