Tesla Model S: Grip - Door - Exterior Handle - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
- Remove grip backplate (refer to procedure) .
- Release LED from door grip.
- Release door grip from fork and remove.
Installation
- Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the
following.
- Install the door grip to the fork and ensure it is fully
engaged.
- Position LED to door grip.
- Install grip backplate.

The appropriate tire rotation pattern depends on the design of the
tire. Check the sidewall to see if there is an arrow showing
Removal
Fully open the driver's door.
Move the driver's seat rearward for access.
Remove the RH center console closeout extension (refer to
procedure).
Release the clips (x2) that secure the footwell cover trim to
the dash.
