Tesla Model S: LF Antenna - Dash - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the instrument panel side cover assembly (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the antenna to the side cover (torque 1 Nm).

  3. Remove the LF antenna from the side cover assembly.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove touch screen surround trim (refer to procedure) Release hazard warning switch from substrate and disconnect harness connector from switch. Remove switch.

    Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following: Caution: Replace all nylon-insert locknuts. Caution: Replace all Patchbolt(s). Note: The LH and RH subframe braces are not interchangeable.

     Seal - Door Rear Outer Belt - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Lower window glass. Using a suitable tool release outer belt seal, release leading edge and work rearward. Caution: Protect paintwork from possible damage during this procedure. Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
