Replacing Cabin Air Filters
Model S has an air filter that prevents pollen, industrial
fallout, road dust, and other particles from entering the
cabin through the vents. Tesla recommends replacing
these filters every 2 years

Removal
Remove driver seat (refer to procedure)
Remove passenger seat.
Remove driver footrest (refer to procedure)
Remove LH sill panel trim (refer to procedure)
Remove RH sill panel trim.
Remove rear seat cushion (refer to procedure)
Loosen bolts (x2) securing front
Assembly - Instrument Panel Lower - RH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove the RH instrument panel side cover assembly (refer to
procedure).
Note: LH panel is illustrated; RH removal is
identical.
Using a suitable tool, release the clips (x13) that secure the
trim to the dash substrate.
