Tesla Model S: Air Line - Air Suspension - Compressor to Valve Block (Remove and Replace)
Warning: To avoid personal injury, eye protection must be
worn when performing this operation.
Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle (refer to procedure).
- Disconnect 12V power.
- Rear wheel drive (RWD): Refer to
procedure.
- Dual Motor: Refer to procedure.
- Remove the underhood storage unit (refer to procedure).
- Release the fitting from the valve block (torque 3.5 Nm).
Caution: Plug the line connection to prevent
ingress of moisture or dirt.
- Remove the front aero shield (refer to procedure).
- Release the air line clip between the valve block and the
compressor.
- Release the fitting from the compressor (torque 3.5 Nm).

ingress of moisture or dirt.
InstallationInstallation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the

Use another method to open the charge port
One of the charge port door sensors is not communicating properly. This may
cause the charge port to not
recognize the request to open when the charge port door is pressed.
You can still use all other usual methods to open the charge port door:
Request
Position the support jack on top of the front
crossmember and secure the 2 screws to the front crossmember.
The support jack mounts to the bolt holes on top of the front
crossmember that secured the coolant reservoir.
