Tesla Model S: Assembly - Cover - Footwell - RH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Fully open the passenger door.
  2. Move the passenger seat rearward for access.
  3. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the footwell cover to the dash (torque 2 Nm).

  4. Carefully release the footwell cover from the dash and disconnect it from the rear lugs (x2). Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
  5. Disconnect the footwell lamp harness connection.

  6. Remove the footwell cover.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the A-Pillar middle trim panels (refer to procedure) Release 'A' post trim retaining screw cover, lower edge first. Remove screw (x1) securing trim to 'A' post (torque 2 Nm). Carefully release

     Charging the Battery

    Select Manual Mode from the Charge/Discharge Mode menu. Type the desired SOC in the Target SOC% field, or drag the Target SOC% knob to the desired SOC. Turn on the HV power supply.
