Use brake cleaner to clean the threaded rod and the nut bearing assemblies. Use 3M Spray Lube 08878 or equivalent to lubricate the threaded rod and the nut bearing assemblies. Slid

Removal Remove the mid aero shield (refer to procedure). Disconnect the speed sensor connector. Remove the bolt that secures the speed sensor to the end bell (torque 8 Nm).

Warning: If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle. Removal Remove the front hub (refer to procedure). Remove the screws (x2 or x3) that secure the dust shield to the knuckle (torque 8 Nm).

 Carpet - Underhood Storage (Dual Motor) (Remove and Install)

Removal Peel back the carpeting at the front of the underhood storage unit. Disconnect the emergency hood release and front light harnesess.
