Tesla Model S: Lamp - Reflex - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove rear fascia assembly for access (refer to procedure)
  2. Release clips (x2) securing reflex lamp to rear fascia.
  3. Remove reflex lamp.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the front fascia (refer to procedure). Release the clips (x4) that secure the fascia harness to the fog lamp assembly. Disconnect the fog lamp harness connector.

     Horn - 1st Generation (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove the front underhood apron (refer to procedure). Remove the bolt that secures the horn to the bracket (torque 8 Nm).

    Removal Remove Rear RH seat back rest assembly and remove Pivot lock from outboard side of assembly (refer to procedure) Release and remove latch cover from seat back. Release cover from seat back frame. Remove

     Press Sensor - Door - Exterior Handle - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove door handle for access (refer to procedure) Position handle assembly on a soft working surface. Remove door handle rear seal. Remove cable ties securing door pressure sensor and motor wiring. Release motor harness connector. Remove press sensor screw.
