Tesla Model S: Latch - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove LH pivot lock (refer to procedure)
  2. Release and remove latch cover from seat back.

    Latch - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

  3. Carefully release cover from seat back frame.
  4. Remove bolts (x2) securing latch to seat frame (torque 24 Nm).
  5. Remove seat latch.

Installation

Installation procedure is reversal of removal.
