Tesla Model S: Applique - Fascia - Front - 2nd Generation (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model S (2012-2025) Service Manual / Body / Applique - Fascia - Front - 2nd Generation (Remove and Replace)

Note: This procedure describes how to remove and replace the 2nd generation front fascia applique. If the vehicle is equipped with a 1st generation front fascia applique, refer to procedure 10011402 (refer to procedure).

Removal

  1. Remove the front fascia applique (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the parking sensors from the applique.
  3. Remove the bright trim from the applique.

Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

Installation
  1. Transfer the parking sensors and bright trim to the new applique.
  2. Install a new Tesla "T" badge.
  3. Reinstall the applique.

    Removal Remove the LH liftgate trim (refer to procedure). Remove the screw that secures the amplifier to the liftgate. Carefully disconnect the amplifier connector. Release the clip that secures the amplifier to the liftgate. Note: RH side shown.
