Tesla Model S (2012-2026) Service Manual / Body / Applique - Fascia - Front - 2nd Generation (Remove and Replace)
Note: This procedure describes how to remove and replace the 2nd generation front fascia applique. If the vehicle is equipped with a 1st generation front fascia applique, refer to procedure 10011402 (refer to procedure).
Removal
- Remove the front fascia applique (refer to procedure).
- Remove the parking sensors from the applique.
- Remove the bright trim from the applique.
Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).
Installation- Transfer the parking sensors and bright trim to the new applique.
- Install a new Tesla "T" badge.
- Reinstall the applique.

Removal
Remove the front underhood apron (refer to procedure).
Remove the bolt that secures the horn to the bracket (torque 8
Nm).
Move the connector covers aside and disconnect the horn
connectors (x2).
Rem
Module - HVAC Controller - RCCM (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove the IP carrier (refer to procedure).
Disconnect the HVAC harness connector from the Remote Climate
Control Module (RCCM).
Remove the screws (x4) that secure the RCCM to the HVAC casing.
