Tesla Model S: Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove LH rear seat back rest assembly (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove E-clip securing pivot lock.

    Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove and Replace)

  3. Slide pivot lock from backrest frame.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the rear door trim panel (refer to procedure). Remove the screws (x3) and the nut (x1) that secure the interior door handle to the trim pad (torque 3 Nm). Release and remove the door handle.

     Panel - Aero Shield - Mid (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove the LH diffuser tray rails (refer to procedure). Repeat step 1 for the RH diffuser tray rails. Remove the bolts (x9) that secure the mid aero shield panel to the body (torque 4 Nm). Remove the mid
