Tesla Model S: Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove rear seat back rest assembly (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove E-clip securing pivot lock.

    Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove and Replace)

  3. Slide pivot lock from backrest frame.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the LH side rear trunk trim for access (refer to procedure). Disconnect the harness connections (x3) from the module. Caution: Mark the harnesses so that they are reinstalled properly.

     Hinge - Hood - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove the hood assembly (refer to procedure). Mark the installed position of the hinge to the hood. Remove the nuts (x2 or x3) that secure the LH hinge to the hood (torque 24 Nm). Caution: Protect exterior paint work from possible damage during this pr
