Removal
Remove the rear center underhood apron (refer to procedure).
Release the retainers (x2) that secure the particulate filter
cover.
Note: Components have been re
HVAC Assembly (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove cross car beam (refer to procedure).
Recover refrigerant from AC system (refer to procedure).
Disconnect AC connection to HVAC, discard 'O' rings (torque 22
Nm).
Actuator - Inlet (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove glove box assembly (refer to procedure)
Disconnect actuator harness connector.
Remove screws (x3) securing recirculation actuator to HVAC
assembly (torque 1 Nm).

Removal
Remove the LH closeout extension assembly (refer to procedure).
Note: For vehicles built with the cold weather
package between May 31, 2013 and July 11, 2014, a fuse box
blocks access to the drain hose from the LH side. Remove the
RH close
Seat Belt Pre-tensioners
The front seat belts are equipped with pre‑tensioners
that work in conjunction with the airbags in a severe
frontal collision. The pre‑tensioners automatically retract
both the seat belt anchor and the seat belt webbing,
reducing slack in both the lap and diagonal portions of
the belts, res
